Electric Moped Subscription London: Costs & What to Check | Ride Today
Start with your actual journey

What an electric moped subscription does—and does not—solve

A Ride Today subscription gives you access to a moped for an agreed weekly price. Food-delivery use is insured through our setup, and we work with all insurance parties to help riders get covered. We service our mopeds every six weeks. We will go through the hiring agreement with you before you sign so you understand what is included, what you are responsible for and how to get help.

The most useful question is not simply “What is the cheapest electric moped in London?” It is “What will this cost me for the period I need it, and will it work for my daily distance?” A weekly headline price is only one part of that answer.

1. Work out your distance

Add the full round trip, not just the distance from home to work. For delivery, use a realistic busy shift rather than your shortest shift. Add a buffer for detours, weather, battery condition and the fact that advertised range is not a guarantee.

2. Check the bundle

We will review the hiring agreement with you before you sign. Read it carefully with us: it explains your responsibilities, what the service covers, and how faults, damage and support are handled. Ask us about anything you do not understand.

3. Check charging

Battery options depend on the moped. For selected models, you can swap batteries at our location or arrange extra batteries to take home. Ask us which option applies to the bike you are considering.

Questions worth asking before you subscribe

  1. What is the total due today, including any deposit, delivery or setup fee?
  2. What insurance is included, and is it valid for the exact way you intend to use the moped?
  3. What happens if the moped is stolen, damaged or unavailable?
  4. How do cancellations work, and are there minimum terms or notice periods?
  5. What support do you get if you have a breakdown during a work shift?
FAQs

Electric moped subscription questions

Is an electric moped subscription cheaper than buying?

Not automatically. Compare the full cost over the same time period. Buying involves purchase price, insurance, servicing, repairs, depreciation and resale; a subscription involves recurring payments and whatever the contract includes. A subscription may suit people who value predictable costs or do not want to own the vehicle, but the arithmetic depends on the actual terms.

Does “all-inclusive” mean every cost is covered?

No wording should be treated as unlimited cover. Check exclusions, insurance excesses, misuse, damage, theft conditions, tyres, consumables, delivery use and any replacement-bike policy in the actual contract.

Can I use the moped for food delivery?

Only if the vehicle, licence, insurance and subscription terms permit that use. Confirm delivery cover and platform requirements before accepting paid orders.

How do I find the price for my subscription?

The actual subscription cost depends on the subscription duration you choose and any additions. Check the live product page to see the price for your selected options.
