How to Rent a Moped in London

Getting started with Ride Today is straightforward. Choose the moped that suits your needs, complete your application and get ready to ride.

Step 1: Choose your moped

Start by comparing our available electric mopeds.

VMOTO VS2 — from £45 per week

The VS2 is our more affordable option, ideal for riders looking for a practical electric moped.

Zero LS1 — from £85 per week

The Zero LS1 is our premium option, with a stated range of up to 100 miles and a top speed of 55 mph. Actual range depends on riding conditions and other factors.

These are starting prices. Your actual price depends on the selected vehicle, subscription duration and any applicable options or additions.

Step 2: Apply online

Choose your preferred moped and submit your application. Our team will review your application and documents to check your eligibility. Make sure the information you provide is accurate and your documents are valid.

Step 3: Complete your agreement and payment

Once your application has been reviewed, you’ll need to complete the hire agreement and arrange payment before collecting your moped. Read the agreement carefully: it explains the terms of your subscription, your responsibilities and applicable charges. Ask our team if anything is unclear.

Step 4: Collect your moped

At collection, our team will go through the agreement with you and provide basic guidance on using your vehicle. Take the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the moped before heading out.

Step 5: Get on the road

Once you’ve completed the required checks and collection process, you’re ready to ride. Use appropriate safety equipment, follow the applicable licensing requirements and familiarise yourself with the vehicle before your first journey.
